I received a donkey with Milo's personality. He was raised with a pig and was spoiled his owner and him would sit on the porch and eat snicker candy bars. His name is Funny Face but when he arrived at my house I thought he should be called funny body he was so fat. His owner died of cancer and his family ask me if I would take him. The minute he got out of the horse trailer he did not want to lead I was not expecting that he was so little he is a minature Jack (not gelded) he started screaming chasing my cleyesdale, he got loose from me. He was not scary but a 2000 lb draft horse being chased in a circle. I caught him put him in a open air barn that the other horses and donkeys walk around. Everytime an animal got by him he would run with his head down yelling the lenght of the fence. Ears pinned down. I let him out with my 30 year old horse who does not like to run. He jumps on the horses side hangs on yells throws a fit. He is so little they just think he is anoying. He started climbing fences going under or over. The donkeys that I have are not minatures and they are Jennies, they put him in his place first. One by one he started going down the line of who is the boss. He now eats last his only friend is Ely the 30 year old horse but they all get along. I don't have pigs but Milo reminds me of Funnyface Funnyface is sweet I don't know why he tried to be the boss he is so little my dogs are almost as big as him he is the boss of the dogs. When I let him in my back yard he gets to eat the dog food the dogs eat the next bowl. I guess I am saying put him with a sweet older pig and move on to the next. make sure you only put him with a stronger one so he learns his place.

Great to read about the piggy feeding ritual! I can picture all the pigs bashing into each other for food & little stormy running in circles! hahaha Looking forward to reading about the bedtime ritual... your blogs are so animated I feel like I'm there. xox
