BART

Bart was one of our original six pigs. He spent his retirement years napping and eating. His favorite food in the whole wide world was watermelon. Bart was about 15 or 16 when we lost him. On the day before he passed, he was standing at his gate and appeared to want to go outside - something he hadn’t done in quite a while. He tottered out to lie in the sun and I got us a blanket and I spoke to him, reminiscing about all the very good times we have had together. We talked about his brother Teddy and his girlfriend Ruby, both who have now passed on. I told him if he was ready for his next journey, it was ok to leave. Say hi to Ruby and Teddy for me sweet Bart.
